About the program
The Sato Yo International Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to outstanding international students pursuing graduate or undergraduate studies in Japan. The scholarship is specifically designed for privately financed (self-funded) students who demonstrate academic and research excellence and who are enrolled in or accepted to a Japanese university. The scholarship aims to support these students financially as they pursue their studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a privately funded international student (not on other scholarships)
- Enrolled or enrolling in a Japanese university
- Current students (2nd year or above)
- Academic excellence and financial need
- Prepare required documents including resumes, academic transcripts, research plan (for graduates), and a recommendation letter
