About The Program
The scholarships at University of Kansas are merit-based institutional awards designed to support international freshman and transfer students pursuing undergraduate degrees in the United States. These scholarships are primarily based on high school GPA and are automatically considered during the admission process.
The awards are renewable for up to eight semesters (four years), provided students maintain satisfactory academic progress and meet renewal requirements.
International students can receive up to $64,000 in total scholarship support over their undergraduate studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an international student
- Must apply and be admitted to the University of Kansas
- Must be a first-year freshman or transfer student
- Must meet GPA requirements based on scholarship tier
- Must enroll full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
- Must maintain a KU GPA of 3.0 for renewal
