About the program
The International Student Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based financial award offered by the University of Auckland in New Zealand to high-achieving international students who are beginning full-time study at the university. It was established in 2016 with the purpose of attracting talented students from around the world to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate study at the University of Auckland.
Eligibility criteria
- International students only ( you must not be a citizen, permanent resident, or resident visa holder of New Zealand or Australia)
- You must be a new student at the University of Auckland (not previous enroll)
- You must be enrolled (or enrolling) full time in an eligible programme
- A strong academic record is expected (competitive)
- You must meet the university’s English language requirement (for your chosen programme)
