About the program
Merit-based scholarships at SLU are awards based on academic performance (GPA, coursework, sometimes test scores) that do not need to be repaid. International students are automatically considered when they apply for undergraduate admission, no separate scholarship application is needed for most of these awards.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be fully admitted to Saint Louis University as an undergraduate student (first-year freshman).
- Full-time enrollment each semester
- You must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA, generally 2.0 or above
- Strong high-school academic record
- If you did not take a common U.S. exam (SAT/ACT), SLU may require an English proficiency test (like TOEFL/IELTS) to evaluate your academic readiness.
