About the program
The Excellence Scholarship at Loughborough University is designed to recognize and reward exceptional academic achievement among international postgraduate students. By offering a substantial tuition fee reduction, the scholarship supports talented students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, typically holding a first-class undergraduate degree or its international equivalent.
Eligibility criteria
- You must hold a first-class bachelor’s degree (or an international equivalent) prior to starting your Master’s.
- You must be self-funded, meaning you are paying your own tuition fees and not receiving another full university scholarship (other than the Alumni Bursary).
- You must have an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) for an eligible postgraduate taught programme, such as an MA, MSc, PG Diploma, or PG Certificate, starting in September 2026 at Loughborough’s UK or London campuses.
