About the program

The University at Buffalo offers scholarships in varying amounts to qualified incoming international first-year/first-time (freshman) students. Scholarship awards vary and are renewable with good academic standing. The Flagship Scholarship may be combined with other UB scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to incoming first-year (freshman) students with no completed coursework or credits at a postsecondary institution.
• Available for students enrolling in either the fall or spring semester.

Application and Review Process

• All admitted students are automatically considered for scholarships during the holistic review process, considering more than just GPA and test scores.
• Scholarship award can be found within your admitted student portal and are renewable for up to four years, provided students meet continuing eligibility requirements.
