Key Course Structure

The program is divided into two main semesters, followed by a final project. 

Semester one includes compulsory modules such as:

  • LIFE707 – Biological Data Skills 
  • IVES701 – Introduction to IVES Research 
  • IVES713 – Ecology in the Anthropocene 
  • IVES712 – Evolution in the Anthropocene

Eligibility Criteria

International Opportunities and Graduate Visa 

International students are welcomed at the University of Liverpool, with services such as meet-and-greet at Manchester Airport and dedicated support teams for international students throughout the year. Additionally, the UK offers a graduate visa, allowing students to stay and work in the country for up to two years post-graduation.

The tuition fee for the 2025-26 academic year is: 

£13,300 per year for UK students 

£28,300 per year for international students 

Scholarships like the Chevening Scholarship provide up to £18,000 in funding for eligible students. Additionally, the University of Liverpool International College Excellence Scholarship offers a £5,000 fee discount for high-achieving students.
