1. What are the entry requirements for studying in Switzerland?  

Entry requirements vary widely between universities, majors or the types of program you are seeking. 3. Do I need personal transportation when studying in Switzerland?  

Switzerland provides effective and reliable public transportation so that students can travel around using public transportation in general. 

4. What is the capital of Switzerland? 

The capital of Switzerland is Bern.  

5. What is the name of the Swiss currency? 

The Swiss currency is the Swiss Franc. Its code is CHF or Confoederatio Helvetica Franc which is derived from Switzerland’s Latin name of Confoederatio Helvetica. One Swiss Franc is around 1.09 United States Dollar.  

6. What is the language of instruction in Swiss universities? 

The language of instruction in Swiss universities will vary based on the institutions and the canton it is located. However, with the large volume of international students, many universities offer English programs. For more information, it is recommended to do more research or consult with the local education agent.  

7. Is there financial assistance available?  

Yes, there are. Depend on the institutions and program you are intended to attend, there are usually partial scholarship offers by the institutions. It is recommended to seek for more information with the education agent who partners with those universities.  

8. How safe is Switzerland?

9. Are students allowed to work in Switzerland?

Yes, international students are allowed to work in Switzerland with some conditions. Generally speaking, international students can only work up to 15 hours per week. However, the condition might also vary based on the nationality of the students and the institutions the student are attending.
