About The Program

The Deakin University Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships 2026 provide fully funded opportunities for outstanding domestic and international students to pursue a Master by Research or PhD by Research degree in Australia. Funded by the Australian Government, the scholarship supports students with tuition fees, living expenses, relocation assistance, and health insurance.

Eligibility Criteria

Be a domestic or international student.
Have an offer or be enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) program at Deakin University.
Be enrolled as a full-time, on-campus research student.
Have completed at least four years of undergraduate study or an equivalent qualification.
Meet Deakin University's English language requirements.
Not receive income from another source exceeding 75% of the RTP stipend.

Benefits

For selected student:

Full tuition fee waiver.
Annual living stipend of approximately USD 25,400.
Relocation allowance of approximately USD 360–1,070.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for international students.
Access to world-class research facilities and expert supervision.
