About the program
For the 2026 Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) at Chuo University, Japan, scheduled for September 2026. Chuo University is seeking to enrol full-time non-degree students and full-time non-degree research students who wish to undertake graduate studies in Japan.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Cambodian national who was born after April 2nd,1991
- Have successfully completed an undergraduate program at RUPP
- Possess a 2.30 of 3.00 CGPA (Japanese Standard GPA Calculation)
- Possess sufficient language proficiency of CEFR B2 equivalent (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 79) or higher (English) and/or JPL N2 or higher (Japanese)
- Have good conduct and be healthy physically and mentally
- Must not be a MEXT scholarship recipient in the past, or currently serving in the military
Scholarship benefits
- The recipient is exempt from paying tuition fees at Chuo University, air travel, and a stipend of 143,000 Japanese Yen per month.
