About the program

This is a fully funded postgraduate research scholarship supported by the Australian Government and administered by the University. Its aim is to support outstanding international students undertaking Master’s by Research or PhD degrees. Recipients receive a living stipend, tuition coverage, health insurance, and other capped allowances 

Eligibility criteria

• Be enrolling or enrolled in a higher degree by research
• Have an unconditional offer for admission or be currently enrolled full-time in an HDR program
• Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and research potential
• Meet the University’s English language requirements

Required documents

• Application form 
• Academic transcripts and degree certificates 
• Evidence of research experience or publications (if applicable)
• Research proposal 
• English language test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE)
• CV / résumé
• Supervisor acceptance letter 
• Proof of identity (e.g. passport)
• Two academic referee reports
