About the program

This fellowship offers scholars the chance to advance their research on democracy and human development in a supportive academic environment. Fellows will work on their research, publish in the Institute's Working Paper Series, and prepare for the academic job market.

Eligibility criteria

• Research must focus on international themes related to global democracy and human development
• Applicants must have earned a PhD within the last three years
• Proficiency in English is required
• Must be able to obtain a J-1 Visa
