About the program
The Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based award offered by the University of Waikato to support high-achieving international students enrolling for the first time in undergraduate or postgraduate (taught) programmes
Eligibility Criteria
- Are an international Student (full fee paying)
- Are applying for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at the University of Waikato
- Have received a conditional or unconditional offer of place from the university
- Have excellent academic results (typically a minimum B+ grade average or equivalent)
- Are not already enrolled at Waikato or applying via a sponsoring body/credit arrangement/exchange programme
- Have not paid tuition fees or applied for a visa at the time of application
